WHY ARE YOU HERE?  Same reason we are here, I guess.  You are probably disillusioned by the way modern music is delivered to us.  Ranks of Simon Cowells around the world try and force feed us the same style tunes sung by the same kind of people.  Thing is, those people don't look like you, don't think like you do and having nothing in common with you.  Or me.

Sound familar?  Then we're on the same page!  When Vikki and I started SPiT LiKE THiS several years ago, we embarked on a journey that flew in the face of every convention that existed in the music industry.  Soon we had made a big enough impact that other people, people we had never met, people like YOU, decided that they wanted to help spread the word about us.

Now, of course, SPiT LiKE THiS is a "proper" band with a Top 10 Rock Chart "hit" under our belt.  How have our lives changed?  Well, a lot in some respects and not a lot in others!  We still have no money.  We still strive to make our dream come true and we still rely on people like you to help us do that.

Over the course of the last few years, we have gone from a band that no-one had heard of or gave a shit about to something a bit more substantial.  We have played with major bands (The Misfits, Twisted Sister, Wednesday 13 - to name a few) in venues, big and small around the country.  We have hundreds of thousands - perhaps millions - of fans around the world.  People that care about and love us, what we do and what we stand for.  I mentioned our Top 10 Rock Chart appearance well, fuelled by such successes, we embarked on our craziest journey - the recording of our debut album.

All of our money and all of our senses has gone into the album.  In August 2008, we signed a deal with Transcend Media Group and the album was finally released on November 17th 2008.  So far, it is selling really well and we are in talks for the album to be released in other territories worldwide throughout 2009!

Our work - YOUR work - isn't finished though.  Every year, Reality TV Shows tell the world what they should be listening to - and it is wrong.  There should be a place in popular music for all sorts of bands.  Even bands like us!  Can you imagine us on your telly?  Yeah, it would be THAT good!
